My system GPA 515-8G, 399-8A and MRII564

Hello, some details are my DIY speakers including drivers following GPA 515-8G, GPA 399-8A and MRII564, they are bass-reflex load of 330 liters, the fund is made in multiples of birch from Finland with a thickness of 24mm, all is stuck with groove, the back is removable for the development of drivers.

There is no insulation on the inside, just a carpet on the ground.

Screening for low frequencies is a 600hz/12db and high frequencies, it is a 600hz/6db.

I use tube amps JH50 LECTRONIC (push-pull EL34) or Sonic Frontiers SFS-40 (push-pull KT88)

Thanks to your system . I put 2+2 together and came with this idea.

Why not use GPA 3127 12" GPA 399-8A, MR II 564 to resurrect the Altec theater cinema surround using the" JBL" 8340 design.

I did check the volume of the 8127 cab and the 8340 they are very close even thow the 8340 uses a 10" . What Altec wants is long throw.

This is all intune with the upkeep and reintroduction of Altec front loaded main speakers in large scale cinema's.
